Functional skills (maths and English) training

To progress their careers, many staff require a pass in English and maths at Level 2.

Some staff may have struggled with these subjects in the past, missed schooling or simply have lost their certificates. Whatever the reason they now need to gain their English and/or maths qualifications, we offer the opportunity for staff to achieve this.

The Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications are equivalent to GCSE grade C or 4.

We work with different providers and deliver some sessions in-house. There are two approaches:

1. A combination of face-to-face and online learning
2. Online-only learning with remote tutor support
